There are three main restaurants and two bars at the Penha Longa Resort. The Chef at “Il Mercato” is specialized in using little-known and delicious food and wines from all across Italy’s twenty regions. The “Arola” offers a creative and contemporary kind of Portuguese cuisine, mixing tradition and heritage with an inimitable modern touch. Advises by the Chef Sergi Arola (2 Michelin stars awarded). At “Midori” guests will find an amazing selection of sushi and sashimi at Sushi Lovers Buffet or traditional Japanese cuisine buffet or à la carte with option for Teppan Yaki (live show cooking). In the “B Lounge” light meals are served all day long, also specials like gourmet hamburgers. In the evening it turns in a bar with an extensive selection of Gins. The poolside restaurant “Aqua” is the best place to enjoy the finest Portuguese cuisine prepared on an open grill. The famous Portuguese Cataplanas have a permanent place on the menu.
