The castle hotel Palazzo Malaspina houses only five double rooms. They are all very spacious and create a homey flair through the combination of antiquities from the family’s property, delicate fabrics, terracotta floors and open beamed ceiling. The colour-styling of the accommodations reflects the diverse nuances of the landscapes of Tuscany. The rooms at the Palazzo Malaspina offer a view on the hills of Tuscany and into the life on the streets of the middle-aged San Donato in Poggio. All rooms include air-conditioning and two rooms at the family hotel can be fitted with extra beds. Some of the beautiful bathrooms include a Jacuzzi and/or old stone washbasins that were embedded into the walls.

Or you can visit the famous cities like Siena, Arezzo, Pisa, Lucca, San Gimignano, Certaldo, Volterra, Pienza and Montepulciano – they’re all less than an hour away! Even Florence is only 30 min from the hotel – and since there is no reception, only magnetic cards, you can come and leave the hotel at any time of day or night.
