This boutique hotel is housed in a finca just outside Bonifacio, which means that both the city and the beach are within easy reach. The Lodge itself is situated near the main road, but it is still very quiet. Highlights include a restaurant with authentic atmosphere and great food. There is also an attractive hotel pool. Thai massages and spa treatments, as well as classic beauty treatments, are available on request.
Boutique: Intimate atmosphere in 16 individual rooms
With just 18 rooms and suites, a private and relaxing atmosphere is guaranteed. All of the rooms have been individually decorated and combine the simple charm of a Corsican finca with all the modern amenities that guests expect. The furniture is mostly made from polished wood, as are the windows and doors. In some of the rooms exposed beams create a really rustic feel. Colorful mosaic tiled bathrooms, modern amenities, and, depending on the room category, even a separate living room area and furnished outdoor area, promise an enjoyable stay.
Romantic: Walks on the beach and shady palm trees
From the hotel it is just a short walk to Corsica’s rugged south coast. The most beautiful beaches near Bonifacio are around 3km away. Spend the whole day sunbathing and swimming in the sea, then take a romantic stroll along the beach in the evening. If you’re after a bit of peace and quiet away from the crowds then just laze by the hotel pool during the day and relax in the evening with a glass of wine in the gardens around the finca where you’ll find historic walls and palm trees rustling in the breeze.
Wellness: Thai massages and Jacuzzi
The Lodge de Charme a Cheda has its own spa room where guests can book a Thai massage or other treatments including a professional manicure or face masks for that really relaxed holiday feeling. Other spa facilities here include an outdoor Jacuzzi and sauna.

In the hotel restaurant, head chef Yannick Tetrel prepares dinner and lunch using only the freshest ingredients and mixing up traditional Corsican specialties with his own creations. The results are simply mouthwatering! Anyone who feels inspired and wants to learn how to recreate these dishes themselves can book a cookery course with the chef.
Sports & leisure: Boat trips, bike rides or a city break
The hotel can organize boat trips to the nearby nature reserve or simply to one of the many romantic beaches nearby. Sporty types can rent a mountain bike from the reception and explore the coast on two wheels. The swimming pool at the Lodge is the perfect place to just relax, as is the peaceful garden, where you can settle down with a good book under a shady palm tree. Don’t leave without a cultural visit to nearby Bonifacio. The views over the Mediterranean Sea from the chalky cliffs are also unmissable!
