The 4 star Suitenhotel Parco Paradiso is located on a hillside on the Gulf of Lugano, overlooking the idyllic Lake Lugano, the city centre and the majestic foothills of the Alps. The 65 rooms and suites are decorated with simple elegance and feature a balcony or terrace. The hotel’s Tsukimi Tei restaurant is the only Japanese restaurant in the Canton of Ticino specialising in Teppanyaki dishes. One more restaurant, the panoramic Havana Deck bar and a pool with stunning views complete the luxurious ensemble.

The 65 rooms and suites at the Parco Paradiso are decorated with understated elegance, featuring quality furniture, a balcony or terrace, and large windows. Colourful decorative elements add bright accents to the rooms, which are decorated in subtle, light tones. Guests can choose from 17 spacious and comfortable double rooms in the Classic and Deluxe categories. In addition, the spacious suites offer fantastic views of the lake, city or garden. The hotel’s crowning glory is the 75 square-metre penthouse, with 2 bedrooms and a spacious living area. The view stretches from the large terrace over the entire lake to the Alps beyond. Rooms can be romantically decorated with sparkling wine, a fruit plate and floral arrangements on request.
Spa Hotel: Sauna, massages and beauty treatments
Use of the 130 square-metre spa and wellness area, with sauna and solarium, is free for hotel guests. The spa features an organic sauna, nude sauna and Turkish steam bath. Full body and relaxation massages can be arranged on request. A 15 metre-long heated indoor swimming pool with panoramic views forms the heart of the wellness centre. Beauty treatments such as manicures, pedicures and hair removal are also available.
Lakeside Hotel: Right by Lake Lugano
The hotel is only 1,000 metres from Lake Lugano, and Lugano’s famous lakeside promenade is just a 10-minute walk away. The city is one of Switzerland’s cultural centres and is set amid a scenic landscape of lake and green mountains in the southernmost tip of the Ticino. There is a bathing area in the vicinity of the hotel. Boat trips around the lake and to its idyllic corners are simple to arrange. The California Acquapark, 23km away, offers waterpark fun and a relaxing spa. The hotel is located at the foot of the 912 metre-high Monte San Salvatore, in the suburb of Paradiso. There is a funicular railway to the top of the mountain, from which you can enjoy magnificent panoramic views of the azure shimmering lake and surrounding mountains.

A rich breakfast buffet is served every morning in the elegant La Favola restaurant. Pastries, meats, fruit, cereals, jams, and honey and cheese from Ticino await guests, alongside pancakes, cooked eggs, freshly squeezed orange juice and Prosecco. Breakfast can be taken in the room or the terrace on request. For lunch and dinner, La Favola serves Mediterranean cuisine with fresh local produce and dishes specially created by head chef Andrea Ossola. Special dietary requirements can be taken into account on request. The hotel’s second restaurant, Tsukimi Tei, is the only Japanese restaurant in the Canton of Ticino serving Teppanyaki dishes. Guests sit in front of large hot plates and watch as the experienced chefs prepare delicious light dishes based on traditional Japanese recipes. The Havana Deck, with its panoramic views and terrace, is inspired by classic Cuban bars and is the perfect place to end the day with a refreshing cocktail, Cuban cigar and lively salsa sounds.

The A2 motorway is just 2km from the hotel, and it is 1.8km to the train station. There is a public bus and post bus stop right outside the hotel and a local train runs from Paradiso station to the city centre. The hotel offers a free shuttle service to the airport, which is 6km away.
