Hotel description
A quick stop for shopping and a coffee on Kurfürstendamm: if you plan on doing this on your trip to Berlin, then the Boutique Hotel Mittendrin in Berlin Charlottenburg is perfect. This charming bed & breakfast is just around the corner from the KDW department store, the Tauentzienstraße, and the Kurfürstendamm; a perfect location for taking in Berlin on foot and spending plenty of time in the famous, popular boutiques of this city.
The Boutique Hotel Mittendrin
This small, romantic hotel’s name says it all: ‘Mittendrin’ means „in the middle” in German. It is just around the corner from the famous aforementioned department store. But there is another reason why this bed and breakfast hotel’s fits as well as it could for this hotel in Berlin. From beginning to end, you get the feeling of being in the midst of it all. Forget those stays where you feel like a fleeting passerby! Let’s be honest: even with a guidebook in your pocket, you’re not going to discover all those hidden tips that Berlin has in store, and if they are in there, they surely won’t stay hidden for long. This is just the angle that Sabine Knoll, the owner of the Boutique Hotel Mittendrin, takes. This former actress and current hotelier receives her guests personally and loads them up with tips one can rely on. And the most important thing is that her guest house presents rooms in which you really feel great.
The atmosphere – Berlin charm
The Boutique Hotel Mittendrin has four very charming rooms on offer, all extremely roomy and imaginatively designed. The ambience fits to the lively but headstrong charm of the German capital: a historic Berliner building with stucco. Then add a bright mix of furniture of various materials. Everything is flooded with light and decorated in cheerful colors. Each room has its own, modern-designed bathroom (not in the room itself), two of which also feature a bath.
Wining and dining
With its four rooms, this small bed & breakfast hotel naturally does not have its own restaurant. But, if you’re looking for a good restaurant tip, your host Sabine Knoll should be the first place to ask. And you don’t have to worry about searching for breakfast when staying in the Boutique Hotel Mittendrin. In the mornings, a charming and elegant breakfast room with wooden floor and chandelier is waiting with a long table full of goodies, made more pleasant by the fact that this hotel doesn’t take its breakfast time as seriously as others: you can stay seated and dig in as long as you like!
