Wolfgangsee is a picturesque alpine lake on the border of the Salzkammergut and Salzburg regions. Its clean, clear waters make it popular with divers. It also attracts many swimmers and water sports enthusiasts. The Hotel Garni Seevilla is located right on the shore. In summer its garden becomes the perfect place for sunbathing with stylish sunbeds under white canvas umbrellas. Next to the garden there's a wooden deck from which you can jump directly into the lake.

Leisure & Sport: Skiing, Hiking & Relaxing
After a strenuous hike, it is indescribable to jump headfirst into the turquoise waters of Lake Wolfgangsee. In winter, you can spend the day skiing and relaxing in the sauna. Then lie back in the relaxation room on white upholstered couches and gaze out the huge panoramic windows over the lake. It's only a 15-30 minute drive for hiking or skiing on the Postalm or Zwölferhorn. The historic Schafberg cogwheel railway is just a short walk away. The same goes for the ferry. Don't leave without taking a boat ride across the lake to St. Gilgen!
