Living and eating in harmony with nature are essential to the philosophy at the Eremito | Hotelito del Alma. Its restoration was carried out according to strict ecological rules. In the rooms, only natural and eco-friendly materials have been used. The hotel also runs a small organic farm with vegetable garden, orchard and vineyard. This is where the hotel kitchen gets most of its ingredients from.
Since the 14th century, this secluded monastery, which is today home to the Eremito | Hotelito del Alma, has been a spiritual retreat. Over a period of four years the small monastery was extensively renovated. Today, it still serves the same purpose as it has done for centuries, but now it also offers all the comforts of a modern luxury hotel. Around the monastery is a sea of wooded hills that extends as far as the eye can see. Behind its thick stone walls you’ll find 14 guest rooms with an understated design that will win you over straight away. Exclusively traditional materials like wood, rough-hewn stone and hand-forged iron create an uncluttered look. Despite the historic atmosphere, the room amenities are of the highest quality. Your unforgettable holiday here is rounded off with delicious vegetarian cuisine made from home-grown produce. Another surprising highlight is the spa area with heated pool and steam room with a breathtaking atmosphere.
