Situated on a white sandy bay on the shores of the Indian Ocean, overlooking the lagoon and ocean beyond, Constance Prince Maurice offers couples, families and singles the perfect place to relax and unwind amid peaceful surroundings. Sun loungers, umbrellas and a beach bar are available on the hotel’s wide private beach. Nestled amid lush greenery, with traditional thatched roofs and decorated in breezy island style - 64 Junior, 12 Family and the luxurious Princely suites offer modern comforts and an intimate atmosphere. All suites and villas feature wooden floors, wooden blinds, large double beds, sofa beds, a sitting area, desk, marble bathroom sink, premium satellite TV, free Wi-Fi, minibar, DVD player, individually adjustable air conditioning and a ceiling fan. They also have furnished terraces, with views of either the tropical garden, the sea or the pool.

The resort’s spa was named one of the ’Top 20 Overseas Hotel Spas 2013’, and offers several treatment rooms for massages, a free sauna and a Turkish hammam. The use of the gym, with cardio and weight-training equipment, is also free of charge. Yoga and Pilates, and cardio, health and strength training, are available on request. A wide range of treatments await guests at the beauty salon, including Ayurvedic and anti-ageing treatments, scrubs, wraps, manicures and pedicures. The 39m infinity pool forms the heart of the resort. There is also a thermal pool and a separate pool for children.

The exclusive spa - with infinity pool, sauna, hammam and massages - serves up the ultimate in relaxation. Golf enthusiasts will appreciate the two 18-hole golf courses situated in the neighbouring hotel, to which there is a free shuttle bus service. Golf tournaments and events take place regularly. The day begins with a sumptuous breakfast buffet. Fresh fruit, a variety of freshly baked goods and a full range of continental, French, English or American breakfast dishes are provided for guests. For lunch and dinner, the Archipel restaurant serves dishes from an à la carte menu, and also caters for special dietary needs, such as allergies. In the evening, the remote Le Barachois restaurant, on 5 floating decks over the ocean, serves guests excellent freshly prepared seafood in a romantic setting. As an alternative, lunch and dinner can be enjoyed in the Asian restaurant, which features a sushi bar. Expert sommeliers offer an impressive selection of wines from the resort’s own wine cellar. The elegant Lotus Lounge Bar - next to the Archipel restaurant - is perfect for a before- or after-dinner drink, while the Laguna Bar serves delicious cocktails. Guests can enjoy the gentle sound of the waves and wide ocean views while nursing a drink in the Floating Bar. Candle-lit dinners on the beach or on a raft in the lagoon are available on request at extra cost.

Constance Prince Maurice is situated in a quiet and secluded location along Choisy Road, in Poste De Flacq. It is about 5.5km from the hotel to the beach at Belle Mare. Port Louis, the island’s capital, is about 35km away, as is Mauritius International Airport.
