The Conservatorium Hotel Amsterdam is undoubtedly the most exciting hotel project in the Dutch capital. The prominent historical building is situated in the heart of the old town and not far from the popular P.C. Hoftstraat shopping street. As well as its great architecture, this luxury hotel also boasts first-class standards and a stunning design by Piero Lissoni.
Worth the wait
It took three years, but all the reconstruction and renovation work has definitely been worth the wait. Under the guidance of Lissoni, Amsterdam’s former music convervatoire has been skillfully transformed into a fantasic 5 star hotel. Three cafés, a restaurant, a wonderful atrium and a really modern spa wow guests. Everything is flawless, from the elegant stone floors right down to the regional ingredients used in the show kitchen. In the restaurant "Taiko by Schilo" the chef Schilo Van Coevorden prepares asian-inspired menus with local and seasonal products.
