The Caserio de Mozaga is ideal for explorers who are interested in remote areas away from the coast and tourist resorts. Here you will stay in an old Canarian-style farmhouse. On all sides there are unobstructed views of the volcanic landscape to the horizon. The property is a manicured, flowering oasis of colorful flowers, cacti and palm trees, crisscrossed by wooden and paved paths leading to the individual houses. In addition to the beautiful atmosphere, the delicious regional cuisine served in the small hotel restaurant is a delight!
Country house hotel: absolute tranquility & rural atmosphere
The hotel is beautifully situated on the outskirts of the village on a 10,000 sqm estate with secluded relaxation areas under shady palm trees. From here you can make countless excursions in all directions. A car is recommended to take advantage of the rural location.
Historical: From generation to generation
As you approach the Caserio de Mozaga, the first thing you notice is the traditional country house architecture. The cubic construction and the snow-white exterior paint are typical. The entire property is a National Monument and has been owned by the same family that has lived in part of it since it was built. Built at the end of the 18th century, it was converted into a hotel in the late 1990s by the current owner and hostess. The basic elements of the historical building and especially the atmosphere have been preserved. Throughout the house you will find utensils, furniture and memorabilia from previous generations of owners. In keeping with its long history, the seven guest rooms are furnished in a classic style and of very high quality. The furnishings include genuine rarities and antiques. At the same time, the ambience is pleasantly bright, clear and friendly.

The hotel is perfect for couples looking for peace and quiet, to get to know the country and its people, and to go on excursions together. In between, find an undisturbed spot in the garden and enjoy the idyll of the hotel in a deck chair. Especially in the evening, the light under the endless sky is wonderful. Ideal for enjoying a glass of wine by candlelight or dining on the restaurant terrace.
Food & drink: Delicious breakfast & restaurant in the former horse stable
In the morning, between 8:00 and 10:30 a.m., a rich breakfast with many regional specialties and eggs to order is offered. The restaurant of the hotel is located in an old stable and has been decorated with great attention to detail. Delicious typical Canarian cuisine is served here. This is also appreciated by the locals, for whom the restaurant is also open in the evenings.
