The mountain hotel Casa de San Martín is an old, isolated farmstead in the Pyrenees of Aragon. It is owned by a Brazilian and an Englishman, who have fallen in love with it at first sight. Having refurbished it with much care and dedication, they turned it into an authentic jewel of Spanish hospitality. There is no better place, where to absorb the romance of the mountain landscapes, marvel at gorgeous sun-downs, and take time out for a rest. And incidentally, your well-being will be carefully looked after all the time.
Accommodation
The bedrooms of the Bed & Breakfast Hotel Casa de San Martín are nicely furnished and decorated in a rustic way. They all boast colourful walls and wooden furniture. It seems, the proud character of the old house is trying to draw your attention to its long history in many ways. Solid wooden beams hold the ceilings, unplastered stone walls and wrought-iron bedsteads create a cosy and distinctive atmosphere. And, at a closer look there is a whole lot of little touching details that help creating a particularly pleasant environment. You won’t, however, find a TV set throughout the whole house. For it would be a shame to waste one’s time with it.
The food
A former barn today houses the small, adorable restaurant of the Bed & Breakfast Hotel Casa de San Martín. You will be utterly enchanted, first by the interiors, and then, even more by the excellent cooking. Fresh products, some from the valley and others even home-grown, are creatively composed to savoury dishes. Mountain air quickens the appetite, as is generally known. More than once you will be asking yourself during your vacations in the mountains if you have ever had such a divine meal. And rightly so. And on top of that you will be served a tasty Spanish wine.

As for activities, the mountains provide endless opportunities for recreation and excitement. Lots and lots of places for excursions like picturesque mountain villages, hermit huts, mountain lakes and monumental trees could keep you busy for weeks and months. The more adventurous can go for all kinds of mountain sports: mountaineering, rock climbing, wild water rafting and paragliding. During winter you can go skiing (at 20 Min. drive from the hotel).
