The hotel is located directly on the white sandy beach of Grand Baie. This beach is the ideal location to try out various water sports in the turquoise Indian Ocean. The hotel has its own boat house, where guests can rent kayaks or take a trip in a glass bottom boat. In addition to diving and snorkelling, the beach hotel also offers water-skiing and windsurfing. Sun loungers and beach towels are available free of charge. The pool area, surrounded by palm trees and a sun terrace, contains two swimming pools and a central waterfall.

At the Royal Palm Beachcomber Luxury even the little guests are treated like kings. The professionally-run Mini Club with its own pool welcomes children from 3-12 years old. La Goélette is the main restaurant. It is open daily for breakfast from 7:30, and for dinner from 19:30 to 22:30.
