The hotel is located directly on the white sandy beach of Grand Baie. This beach is the ideal location to try out various water sports in the turquoise Indian Ocean. The hotel has its own boat house, where guests can rent kayaks or take a trip in a glass bottom boat. In addition to diving and snorkelling, the beach hotel also offers water-skiing and windsurfing. Sun loungers and beach towels are available free of charge. The pool area, surrounded by palm trees and a sun terrace, contains two swimming pools and a central waterfall.

Family hotel: Varied Mini Club and professional babysitting service
At the Royal Palm Beachcomber Luxury even the little guests are treated like kings. The professionally-run Mini Club with its own pool welcomes children from 3-12 years old. Here, they can dress up, draw or take part in cookery courses. Those who are interested can learn various sports such as tennis, wind surfing or water-skiing. Upon arrival, children will receive a personal welcome pack with a gift, and a party will be organised for any children who have a birthday during their stay. There is also a professional babysitting service available.
Food & drink: Culinary diversity, award-winning chef, relaxed atmosphere
La Goélette is the main restaurant. It is open daily for breakfast from 7:30, and for dinner from 19:30 to 22:30. For breakfast, guests can either serve themselves at the extensive buffet, or order á la carte. If requested, the first meal of the day can also be served in the guests’ private rooms. At La Goélette, the award-winning chef Michael de Mattei offers a range of local specialities, in addition to international cuisine. Guests are also invited to the wine cellar to choose their wines. The private dining room, La Table du Capitaine, can be booked if guests desire a private atmosphere for dinner.

The hotel spa’s sophisticated design blends the interior and exterior spaces into one another. A central waterfall cascades over multiple pools and is surrounded by a sun terrace made out of natural materials like wood, slate, granite and volcanic rock. Various massages and beauty treatments are offered in the numerous treatment rooms, to suit every taste. The hotel’s spa and wellness area offers 2 hairdressers, 2 beauty salons, a yoga pavilion, two hamams and a sauna. At the heart of the hotel’s tropical garden is the sports centre, which is equipped with numerous fitness machines. This is open from 7:00 to 21:00. A team of professional trainers look after guests’ training needs. Alternalitely, guests can stay in shape on the tennis court or squash court, or in the bowling alley. The boat house, which is open from 9:30 to 17:00 offers a range of water sports including windsurfing, diving and waterskiing. The boat house also offers the possibility to rent kayaks or explore the island’s surrounding ocean in a glass-bottomed boat.

The Royal Palm Beachcomber Luxury is approximately 25 km from the capital city of Port Louis and about 70 km from the international airport of Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam. It is located in the popular holiday resort of Grand Baie, a sheltered bay on the north west coast of Mauritius with a white sandy beach. There is a helicopter landing pad available for all guests who wish to arrive privately. All 84 comfortably furnished suites have a balcony or a terrace that offer a wonderful view over the bay. There are several entertainment venues located in the immediate vicinity of the hotel.
