A holiday in the mountains with everything you need for a wonderful stay! If this is what you’re looking for, then this Tyrolean spa hotel is spot on. It comes complete with cozy rooms in a chalet style, fine Alpine cuisine and the best set-up for a thrilling ski holiday. There’s also a stylish spa area with heated outdoor pool and it’s close to Lake Achen for summer days on the water. With a total of 60 rooms, the Alpine Wellnesshotel Karwendel is also a manageable size and very quiet in all areas, which makes both the spa and the restaurant really relaxing. Last but not least, the hotel is exceptionally clean and the staff stand out for their professional and friendly manner!

Sport hotel: Easy walking or get active in the mountains

In summer, the Alpine Wellnesshotel Karwendel is an ideal starting point for hiking and cycling in the “Alpenpark Karwendal” nature reserve. Hiking backpacks and bicycles are provided by the hotel free of charge. You can also get an E-bike for a fee. Practically directly from the hotel’s front door, you can cycle or walk at your leisure around the lake. If you’re looking for something more sporty, you can go climbing or mountain bike till your heart’s content in the dense network of mountain and forest trails with steep climbs and fast descents. The hotel itself also runs an activity program, yoga and Qi Gong classes. There’s also a small gym.

Take the Karwendel cable car right from the village up to its ski area which is particularly suited to families and beginners.
