The Waldhaus is located at an elevation of 1,220 meters outside of town; a car is required, but Bad Gastein is just a 5-minute drive away.
During the summer season, the terrace is also open to non-residents from Tuesday through Sunday starting at 2:00 p.m.

Since the summer of 2025, it has been run by Nina and Denis, a passionate duo, a large garden with a majestic sycamore maple, surrounded by meadows and hiking trails; the house’s charming patina has been deliberately preserved and combined with contemporary design and art objects
