James Bond creator Ian Fleming is among those that have appreciated the seclusion and tranquility of the Hilton Seychelles Northolme Resort, and it is here that he was inspired to write ’For Your Eyes Only’. The resort’s 40 villas are built on stilts using plenty of wood, to create a natural, welcoming atmosphere and offer traditional Seychellois architecture mixed with colonial style. The resort’s azure infinity pool, built over 3 levels, is a special highlight. Beach Hotel: Private sandy beach with house reef
Although the hotel’s beach is not especially large, it is private, never overcrowded and is equipped with plenty of loungers and parasols. It is divided into several coves and is especially popular with snorkelers because of the coral reef right off the beach. Lovers of marine life can start their adventure on the beach and enjoy the Seychelles’ fascinating and rich underwater world. Adults-Only Hotel: Time for togetherness
Hilton Seychelles Northolme is an adults-only resort, welcoming guests from 13 years and above. As such, it is especially popular with couples, and of course with parents enjoying a child-free break. The private villas serve as undisturbed retreats for couples, while the spa, pool and beach enjoy a tranquil child-free atmosphere. Romantic Hotel: Ideal for honeymooners
With its pleasant climate and tropical setting the Seychelles have long been known as a romantic holiday destination. Private villas ensure that couples at the Hilton Northolme Resort can get plenty of alone-time. Couples can also enjoy romantic boat rides, breakfast on the beach, candlelight dinners or couples treatments in the spa. The hotel provides a heavenly setting for honeymoons, to tie the knot on the beach or to renew wedding vows in romantic surroundings. Eating & Drinking: Wide range of international cuisine, buffet or à la carte
Breakfast (and, optionally, half board food) is served in buffet-style in the Hilltop Restaurant, where guests can take fantastic panoramic views of the bay. The buffets are usually themed, with cuisines including Creole, Asian, Italian, etc., and chefs often preparing the food live in front of guests. Guests booking full board can choose from menus. The à la carte Les Cototiers restaurant offers a mix of European and Creole cuisine with an emphasis on delicious seafood dishes. The Ocean View Bar & Restaurant serves a wide selection of drinks, while the kitchen prepares small snacks that can be enjoyed while taking in the fantastic sea views. Sport & Leisure: Large infinity pool, water sports, nature and wellness
Massages and beauty treatments of all kinds are offered in the small but perfectly formed in-house spa. There is also a relaxation lounge and yoga centre. And if that’s not enough, guests can also relax in the steam room or sauna. Use of the in-house gym is free. The resort’s large infinity pool, built over 3 levels, is especially inviting. The resort’s stunning surroundings are ideal for hiking or horse rides, which can be organised at the hotel. The Indian Ocean is perfectly suited to a range of water sports – sailing, diving, snorkelling, fishing and surfing are all possible. Location: Tranquil and tropical
Surrounded by rolling countryside and tropical greenery, the Hilton Seychelles Northolme Resort is located on the edge of Beau Vallon Bay on 3 small sandy coves. The location is quiet and somewhat isolated, as the hotel is situated outside the village. The journey to Seychelles International Airport takes approximately 25 minutes (20km). To explore the rest of the island, guests can rent a car or use the local bus network, which is well developed. It is also possible to visit the city of Victoria, around 7km away, or Beau Vallon Beach by bus. A trip to explore impressive Le Mourne National Park, which is about 23km from the hotel, is also recommended.
