Beautiful location, directly on the shore of Lake Wörthersee. Despite the proximity to the center of Velden, the atmosphere is very quiet and private. The rooms are comfortable and have balconies with a romantic view of the garden or the lake.

Hotel description

When you arrive at the Hubertushof you wouldn’t believe this traditional family-run hotel has been welcoming guests for almost 100 years. Both the decor and the atmosphere create an unexpectedly young and contemporary feel. Perhaps it’s the continuous development and well-established style that create the unique charm of this hotel. What has not changed in 100 years, though, is the brilliant location with direct views of Lake Wörthersee. More recent additions include the modern spa oasis and several trendy studio apartments. All of the rooms and suites are bright, airy and decorated in a summery Mediterranean style with elegant wooden floors. The contemporary amenities include well-equipped bathrooms and large flat-screen TVs. In the hotel restaurant Thomas Eichwald is constantly developing his traditionally influenced Alpine-Adriatic cuisine, which has already won this young head chef several Gault Millau toques.
Lakeside hotel: Close to the beach & lake views
One of the main draws of the Hubertshof is its waterfront location – guests are just a short stroll away from the lake. Beside the lake the hotel has a large sunbathing area with sun loungers and parasols. Many of the rooms and suites (some with balcony) enjoy magical views of the lake.
