Beautiful location, directly on the shore of Lake Wörthersee. Despite the proximity to the center of Velden, the atmosphere is very quiet and private. The rooms are comfortable and have balconies with a romantic view of the garden or the lake.

When you arrive at the Hubertushof you wouldn’t believe this traditional family-run hotel has been welcoming guests for almost 100 years. Both the decor and the atmosphere create an unexpectedly young and contemporary feel. Perhaps it’s the continuous development and well-established style that create the unique charm of this hotel. What has not changed in 100 years, though, is the brilliant location with direct views of Lake Wörthersee. More recent additions include the modern spa oasis and several trendy studio apartments. All of the rooms and suites are bright, airy and decorated in a summery Mediterranean style with elegant wooden floors. The contemporary amenities include well-equipped bathrooms and large flat-screen TVs. In the hotel restaurant Thomas Eichwald is constantly developing his traditionally influenced Alpine-Adriatic cuisine, which has already won this young head chef several Gault Millau toques.
Lakeside hotel: Close to the beach & lake views
One of the main draws of the Hubertshof is its waterfront location – guests are just a short stroll away from the lake. Beside the lake the hotel has a large sunbathing area with sun loungers and parasols. Many of the rooms and suites (some with balcony) enjoy magical views of the lake.
Gourmet hotel: Creative, award-winning cuisine
Excellent food, but in a relaxed, informal atmosphere. If this is something that’s important to you when you’re on holiday, you will love the hotel restaurant here. The menu produced by Thomas Eichwald and his team is accessible and influenced by world and specifically Mediterranean flavors. To accompany the diverse gourmet dining there is also a good selection of wines from the hotel’s own cellar for you to choose from, or let the very competent sommeliers recommend you something special.
Spa hotel: Hotel’s own spa & lakeside sauna
The hotel spa’s name, "LakeSpa", gives you a few clues of what you can expect. You’ll find the lakeside sauna right next to the lakeside sunbathing area. The spa area also has an indoor swimming pool (5x10 meters), a sanarium and a Turkish steam bath. There is also a small, modern fitness room for guests to use. Or book the services of the private team of masseuses.
Leisure & sport: Swimming in the lake, golf & sailing
In the summer season the "beach" - a spacious sun deck with swim ladder, parasols and loungers – is just a short stroll away. Bicycles for exploring the surrounding area or trips around the lake are available all year round. The hotel has special relationships with watersports and golf providers in the local area, which means you’ll get the best deal on splashing about or practicing your swing.
Food & drink: Gourmet breakfast & elegant dinner menus
The day begins with a gourmet breakfast including Prosecco and eggs cooked to your liking. During the day the bistro wine bar provides snacks and light bites. For dinner you can either order a la carte or try out the delicious four-course set menu in the gourmet restaurant.
