The extensive hotel grounds of the Princess Yaiza are beautifully landscaped and feature a wide range of leisure activities, sports, good food, a spa and a hotel-run kids’ paradise. The focal point is two huge swimming pools at the heart of it all. If you prefer to relax on the beach, then you won’t have further than 100m to walk from wherever you are. The choice of rooms is as wide as the selection of restaurants. These range from the buffet restaurant to tapas and Japanese to gourmet cuisine. The hotel’s own Thalassao spa offers wellness with a south-east Asian flair. Families with kids will love Kiko Land, a large, separate area with play and recreational clubs for children and teens. At the same time there are also large and well-maintained sports facilities for adults, including tennis courts, a gym, indoor pool and beach volleyball.

Beach: Fine sand & a great promenade

The beach more than lives up to the name of the former fishing village of Playa Blanca (’white beach’). The hotel grounds offer stunning views across the sea and as far as the neighboring islands of Lobos and Fuerteventura, and are edged by fine white sand that extends on both sides at the edge of a kilometer-long bay. Guests can take long walks to neighboring beaches along the very beautiful, well-built promenade which is also lined with a great selection of restaurants and bars.

Family: Child-friendly and perfectly equipped

The concept at the Princesa Yaiza Suite Hotel Resort is comfortable and luxurious, but at the same time really child-friendly. The children’s park offers supervision and recreational activities for all ages and tastes. The more than 10,000m² area features playgrounds and play areas, shows and entertainment for the little-ones as well as basketball, beach volleyball and even a football school for the teens. All sizes of family will find a suitable room with all the amenities you could need. Last but not least, most of the restaurants are also family friendly.

Wellness: Thalasso with an Asia flair

The spa area offers an outdoor pool as well as a covered heated pool for 16 and overs only. There are also massage booths where you can enjoy a Thai massage, a sauna and steam room (both separate for men and women), relaxation areas and a tea room. The lovingly designed spa has a south-east Asian theme, both in its look and the philosophy of its treatments. The hotel’s special treatment is the Indonesian Jamululur massage, which traditionally was reserved for princesses.

Eating & drinking: Great choice & high quality

The selection at the morning breakfast buffet is overwhelming. Some things are freshly prepared or even individually prepared on request. For the daytime and the evening there are three buffet restaurants and 5 a la carte restaurants to choose from. Don’t leave without trying the Spanish restaurant serving authentic tapas and traditional dishes. If you like something a little more exotic, try the Teppanyaki at the Japanese restaurant "Kampai". For special occasions there is a gourmet restaurant serving Mediterranean cuisine. Guests can also always grab a snack and something to drink at any time in one of the many bistros and bars. Even the children’s paradise has its own snack bar. Another highlight is the Italian gelateria with nearly 30 flavors of ice cream.

Sports & leisure: Ball games, swimming and shopping

The main attractions are clearly the big pool paradise with 6 pools (including a saltwater pool and two children’s pools) and the nearby beach. If you want to get a bit more active then you can try out all kinds of ball games (including tennis, volleyball, football, paddle tennis and basketball). Other amenities include a modern fitness studio. And you can even shop ’till you drop without leaving the hotel in the Shopping Center Boulevard Yaiza where you’ll find well-known fashion stores.
