In the 1940s Paula and Hans Steger bought the hotel. Paula Wiesinger was a mountaineer and downhill world champion, she won more than 20 Italian championship titles. Hans Steger, her husband, was a pioneer in the field of skiing technique - with such a history it is no wonder what ideal conditions the hotel offers for an active vacation in the mountains. The wonderful quiet nature can be explored directly from the hotel - without a car, in summer and in winter.
