Design: Ultra-modern, functional, smart
The most striking feature of the Hotel Quatorze is its minimalistic yet functional design: monochromatic color scheme, well thought-out lighting and warm wooden floors set the stage for chic designer furniture and whimsical modern art adorning the walls. A particularly special atmosphere is created through the combination of historic architecture and contemporary design. Some of the attic rooms include the original woodbeams. Huge fashion photographs and original pictures by Spanish artist Alfons Vallès are displayed on the walls.

The Quatorze is small and minimalistic, but offers the finest accomodations, well deserving its 4 star rating. The wonderfully comfortable beds (1.6m or 1.8m) are covered with sateen, while the blankets and pillows are made of down. Standard amenities include minibar, safe, flatscreen TV, and trendy cosmetic products by Aesop. Both suites include an espresso machine, a living nook and a separate bathroom. In this category, a free-standing designer bathtub or jacuzzi tub await guests in the bathroom, while the other bathrooms include a tub or rain shower. Additionally, these rooms include flat-screen TV, minibar and safe.

Cafe Quatorze is an elegant breakfast room offering a fancy assortment of natural products: fresh pressed orange juice, homemade marmalade, yogurt, croissants, scrambled eggs and lots more.
