The hotel Allgäu Sonne is the perfect starting point for alpine activities of all levels in the area around Oberstaufen and in the Nagelfluh nature park. Guided hikes leave the hotel and follow mountain. In the near you can discover a lot of small dairy farms and eventually you make e trip to Lake Constance. In winter you can try out cross-country and downhill skiing as well as snowshoe trekking.

Spread over 2100sqm, the wellness oasis features two indoor and a heated outdoor pool, whirlpool, Finnish panoramasauna and steam room. The adjoining beauty center specializes in skin rejuvenation using the latest methods. Eating & drinking: Regional and healthy cuisine
The gourmet cuisine served at this hotel places a lot of emphasis on local organic produce. The head chef Wolfgang Mätzler proves that healthy food can be irresistible too. At the Stießbergstüble, the Alpine-themed dance hall with bar, another expert is at work – this time bartender Odin Karas, who knows all there is to know about wines, spirits and cocktails in particular, which he mixes with daily live music and dancing.
