The 5-star Fusion Maia Resort has been open since 2010, and impresses with its whitewashed walls and dark wood furniture. The luxury hotel has 87 rooms, built in the the Vietnamese style of Hue, the "Forbidden City". Each of the pool suites feature a private swimming pool in the garden, which is not visible to other guests. A large spa area, a pool with a waterfall and the resort’s location on one of Vietnam’s most beautiful beaches complete the experience.
Luxury: Generous service, high comfort and a lot of privacy
The pool suites are approximately 50 square metres in size. Each suite has a private pool and sun loungers in the garden. A terrazzo bathtub, iPod docking stations and a coffee maker are among the luxury furnishings and appliances. Large windows open out onto the garden. The rooms are comfortable and designed in a modern style.
Beach: On the world’s most beautiful beach
The hotel is located right on Da Nang’s China Beach. According to Forbes magazine, the beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. As with the pool area, sun loungers are provided on the beach as well. At the pool there is also a small restaurant, providing refreshments and snacks.
Wellness: all-inclusive wellness
The Fusion Maia Resort offers one of the largest spas in Central Vietnam. Spa services such as massages, Ayurvedic treatments, facial and body treatments are included in the price. Two saunas, a hot air sauna and steam room, as well a jacuzzi are available in the Spa & Wellness area, which boasts 16 treatment rooms.
Eating & drinking: International cuisine in the gourmet restaurant, and breakfast on demand
At the Fusion Maia Resort, guests can have breakfast throughout the day, wherever they want it – be it at the pool, on the beach or in the main restaurant, where a buffet of international hot and cold dishes is available. The hotel has two restaurants. The gourmet restaurant offers everything from vegetarian meals to Japanese, Vietnamese and Italian dishes. Gluten-free meals can also be prepared, and children’s meals are available.
Sport & leisure: Luxurious relaxation and historical sites
The outdoor swimming pool is suitable for the serious swimmer, and has several slides. There is also the opportunity to play billiards or volleyball, go snorkeling or canoeing, or play golf on the golf course. Two very popular golf courses, Da Nang Golf and Montgomerie Links, are only ten minutes from the hotel by car. A bicycle hire service and a fitness centre are open daily. Alternately, other activities such as yoga or meditation are also on offer. On request, a daily shuttle service can take guests to the UNESCO World Heritage site Hoi An. Excursions to the UNESCO World Heritage site My Son, a 50-minute drive away, as well as the UNESCO World Heritage site Hue, with its Citadel, are also highly recommended. A visit to the old Imperial Palace and the Purple Forbidden City are recommended as a day trip. On foot, the 5-minute walk to the Marble Mountains is very popular.
