Ski Hotel: specialising in cross-country skiing
In the winter, the Alpin Resort Sacher is both a romantic hideaway and a well-equipped ski hotel. The hotel is particularly attractive to cross-country skiers - as a cross-country skiing certified hotel, it specialises in this particular sport. You can traverse freshly made cross-country trails from right outside the hotel door, with a map and packed lunch in your bag. In the hotel’s own ski room, there are boot drying and ski waxing facilities. The network of runs and trails in Seefeld consists of nearly 280km and offers the right trail for every level.
Spa Hotel: from the slopes to the sauna
The focal point of the 4,000 sqm Spa is an indoor and outdoor pool, connected in the middle so that you can swim into the outdoors. A second outdoor pool has a fabulous panoramic view of the surrounding mountains. A laconium, a salt sauna and two other styles of sauna, a herbal steam bath and an icy plunge pool are also available for your use. Additionally, there is a small lake to swim in on the hotel ground. The whole spa area is also decorated in a cosy Tyrolean style. In the relaxation room, a fire crackles in the hearth during the winter months. After a trip to the sauna, you can relax on wooden-framed water beds. If you book ahead, there is also a professional spa team on hand to treat you to massage and beauty treatments.
Food and Drink: gourmet enjoyment around the clock
The crowning glory of a stay in the Alpin Resort Sacher is the heavenly food, beginning with the breakfast buffet, served until 11am. There is not only a wide range of items to choose from, but everything is of the highest quality. At lunchtime, freshly prepared salads and soups are served in the Spa Bistro and in the evenings, there is a buffet, with changing themes like traditional farmhouse food, or you can choose from a fine dining menu with Alpine-inspired cuisine. In the café Astoria Alm you get creative drinks and little snacks, and buy different Sacher products.
Leisure and Sport: cosy cuddles in the winter, active holidays in the summer
In the winter, the Alpin Resort Sacher is perfect for cross-country skiers, while in the summer months, it offers an excellent base from which to go hiking or mountain-biking and explore the region of Seefeld. The hotel offers the services of a walk guide, who will be more than happy to show you the best routes. Mountain bikers also get tips and individually-tailored advice on routes and trails. The hotel offers a reduced greenfee for the golfclubs near to the hotel. If getting out and about isn’t really your style or the weather keeps you indoors, there is a modern and fully-kitted out gym in the hotel, open all year round. You can also take part in our varied programme of fitness classes, from yoga to qi gong, Pilates to Nordic walking to aquafit.
