The spectacular design of the Hotel Diagonal Barcelona begins on its facade, a piano keyboard with different degrees of relief which acts as a counterpoint to the Agbar Tower designed by Jean Nouvel. The back façade of the 4-star hotel is a work of art, dedicated to the city of Barcelona: a large panel where light plays in a chromatic symphony, creating an optical effect that vanishes the further one goes from the hotel. The uniqueness of the hotel’s design continues inside on the ground floor, envisioned as the inside of a large glass fishbowl in which the hand-shaped sofa welcomes visitors. The design Hotel Silken Diagonal Barcelona has nine floors of rooms, linked by hallways in which a soft blue light illuminates the way and the room numbers. Inside the 228 rooms and 12 suites, all with luxury fittings, a modern concept of design and comfort has been employed.
