Hotel Duquesa de Cardona is located in a historical palace dating from the 16th Century. The building was once the residence of nobleman, such as the powerful Dukes of Cardona and any kings who came for a stay in Barcelona. In the 19th Century, the palace was extended and finally rebuilt in 2003 as a hotel. The imposing original architecture with high ceilings and arches has been retained. A tasteful combination of the palace´s old structure with avant-garde touches blended with the latest technology ensure a pleasant stay within these historic palace walls.
