Nestled in the pristine nature of the Seewinkel region, the St. Martins Therme & Lodge looks out over its own lake, which is ideal for swimming. In addition, the spa area of the Lodge encompasses approximately 2,000 square metres with numerous pools and saunas. The on-site restaurant serves fine wines with the famous cuisine of the Burgenland region.
Spa Hotel: Extensive spa paradise with ten pools and five saunas
In the wellness and sauna landscape of St. Martins Spa, ten different pools are fed by a mineral spring. Guests can relax in indoor and outdoor pools with massage jets, as well as active and saltwater pools - all of which are between 32 and 35 °C. There are also hot and cold water pools and an additional children’s pool available. Five saunas with different temperatures and humidities are decorated according to different themes such as heath soil, salt grass and steppe herb. A variety of infusions are offered. Alternatively, guests can warm up in infrared cabins. An atrium planted with reeds and other native plants offers quiet retreats in wicker loungers. The free gym offers cardio and yoga classes. In addition, guests can choose from a variety of herbal massages, back and neck massages, saltwater baths and body wraps.

The St. Martins Therme & Lodge is situated on a lake with a sandy beach and lawn. Here you can enjoy swimming morning laps or soak in the tranquility of nature on the sun loungers.
Food & Drink: Breakfast at the lake and seasonal cuisine of the Burgenland region
On the lakeside terrace of St. Martins Restaurant, guests of the Lodge can enjoy a balanced buffet breakfast from 7-11 o’clock (till noon on Sundays), which is prepared in front of guests. The selection includes freshly baked breads, homemade spreads and ham specialties, and there are also many vegetarian options and seasonal fruit. While dining you can enjoy views over the lake and the natural surroundings of the Seewinkel. Alternatively, breakfast can be ordered to your room. Local seasonal produce is also used for dinners, which feature a daily changing menu with dishes such as Burgenländisch beans with chestnut-stuffed martini goose, or wine Pannonian roast, depending on the season. The sauna bar Humboldt’s Bar serves healthy options such as buttermilk, whey beverages and naturally cloudy juices and light food from 12 to 18 p.m. daily. For coffee and homemade Esterházy cake, Darwin’s Bar is the place to go. At night you can enjoy aperitifs and digestives there in a sophisticated atmosphere. The Hemingway’s Smoker Lounge is also open for smokers. There, guests can order wines from Burgenland and a plate with local specialties.
Sports & Leisure: Spa, Safari and Petting Zoo
The spa area features 10 pools and 5 saunas to relax in, while the lodge offers adventure-seekers guided discovery tours through the National Park Lake Neusiedl – Seewinkel. Tours can be booked at the lodge, and a bicycle hire service makes it easy to explore on your own. The beautiful natural surroundings are also suitable for Nordic walking. In addition, in the proximity of the hotel you can rent horses and visit a sports field. The Lake Neusiedl is suitable for water sports such as scuba diving, kite surfing, fishing and canoeing. Children will enjoy the free children’s club and children’s play area, and they can encounter animals up close, the hotel is home to the sheep, pigs, chickens, ducks, goats and white donkeys. Wine tastings are occasionally offered in the well-stocked library.

St. Martins Therme & Lodge is located between Lake Neusiedl and the Hungarian border in Seewinkel. The Burgenland area is home to the easternmost salt steppes of Eurasia and boasts a variety of flora and fauna which is atypical for Austria. Wetlands, salt lakes and reed beds provide a habitat for over 300 bird species and are protected as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and Biogenetic Reserve. The St. Martins Therme & Lodge can be reached from the airport Vienna-Schwechat, which is located about 60 km northwest of the hotel. Bratislava Airport is also 60 km away.
