The city hotel Lisboa Plaza combines elegance and atmosphere with the charm of Lisbon’s city centre – despite its central location there remains an intimate, family ambience. One reason for this is, without doubt, the fact that this Lisbon hotel has always been a family business. Built in 1950, the owners of the Lisboa Plaza decided to create a hotel with a well thought out architecture and design, which would put the comfort of its guests at the forefront. In order to keep up with the growing demands of guests, in 2001 the Hotel Lisboa Plaza was completely renovated in keeping with the original concept. Graça Viterbo, a well-known Portuguese designer, is responsible for the resulting balance of the traditional and the modern.
