Large windows, Italian designer furniture, individual color schemes and elegant natural stone bathrooms give each suite a unique character. They all have their own balconies or terraces; the four wellness suites even have their own saunas. Wellness: Heated outdoor pool, panoramic sauna, Hotel Spa
The guests of the Dolomitengolf Suites can enjoy an outdoor pool, the water of which is heated at a constant 29 degrees from March to October. In the large garden is the panorama bathhouse, with Finnish sauna, bio-sauna and steam bath; use is free for hotel guests. In the bathhouse, one also has the opportunity to book various massages. All guests of the Dolomitengolf Suitescan also make use of the spa area of the Dolomitengolf Hotel & Spa, approx. 750m away. Here there are diverse beauty treatments, special massages, herbal- and Thalasso-baths, wraps of all kinds, Ayurveda and more.
Golf: 36-hole championship course, driving range, club cars with GPS
Spectacularly surrounded by the impressive peaks of the Lienz Dolomites, the championship course is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful golf courses in the Alps. The entire course, located in the flat Drau Valley, was extended in 2017. Now, the golf course has 36 holes and is the biggest golf course in Tyrol. There are also a variety of training options: a modern driving range with open and covered tees, a sand bunker, a Chipping Green and a Putting Green. The club cars with their Visage GPS systems are a highlight: a virtual 3D flight over the fairway can start at the tee of every hole. In the "Dolomitengolf Golf Academy", professionals and beginners alike can be brought closer to the basics of the sport, and advanced players can improve their handicap. In the hotel’s own golf shop you can equip yourself with equipment and high-quality golf clothing.
Gourmet: Award-winning restaurant and well-stocked wine cellar
The in-house restaurant "Vincena" enjoys an excellent reputation: Gault Millau awarded 14.5 points to the cuisine of chef Peter Oberzaucher. Using regional and seasonal ingredients, the chef creates Austrian dishes with a well-balanced blend of authentic simplicity and creative sophistication. Connoisseurs of fine wines are also well sevred in the Dolomitengolf Suites: the well-stocked wine bar presents a rich repertoire of fine wines, which are effectively displayed against an illuminated wall. The hotel team are happy to organise a wine tasting in the private setting of the hotel’s in-house, stylish wine cellar.
Food & drink: breakfast on the sun terrace, 4-course gourmet menu in the evening
The day in the Dolomitengolf Suites begins with a hearty buffet breakfast, which can be taken on the spacious Sun terrace of the restaurant if desired. In the Clubhouse, the breakfast brunch is free for guests of the Suites. An evening 4-course gourmet dinner in the award-winning restaurant "Vincena" is included in the half board option. Apart from the restaurant, open from 6.30om to 10pm, The "chill-out terrace"offers delicious snacks and drinks in the afternoon and late evening, as well as beautiful views of the golf course and the surrounding mountains of the Lienz Dolomites.
Sport & leisure: Swimming pool and sauna in the garden, modern gym and free bike-pool
After an exciting day on the 27-hole championship course, the Dolomitengolf Golf Suites invite guests to relax in the spacious outdoor swimming pool in the garden or the panorama bathhouse with Finnish sauna, bio-sauna and steam bath. A fitness room equipped with modern equipment is available for your daily workout. Hikers and nature lovers are also well catered for in the Dolomitengolf Suites: the Drau Valley and the river Isel nearby offer ideal conditions for hiking. The surrounding, towering peaks of the Lienz Dolomites are rewarding challenges for hikers. Avid cyclists can choose between flat and mountainous terrain: the tours are relaxing along the Drau; and in the mountains, mountain bikers will find their preferred routes. The Dolomitengolf Hotel, approx 750m away, has a bicycle pool that is free to guests of the suites. You can also enjoy the beauty of the landscape along the river Isel – for example, by going white water rafting. Tours are offered, for example from Lienz, aprox 10 km away.

The Dolomitengolf Suites are located in Lavant in East Tyrol, an idyllic 300-strong community in the Lienz Dolomites, not far from the border to Carinthia. The quietly located Suites offer scenic views of the golf course and the surrounding towering mountain peaks. The dolomite town of Lienz is about 10 km away: the cultural center of East Tyrol is a worthwhile excursion, with its picturesque old town, numerous churches and many opportunities for shopping and relaxing. In Dölsach, about 3 km north of the Dolomitengolf Suites, are the remains of the only Tyrolean Roman city, Aguntum. Some ruins, as well as a small museum, built in 2005, bear witness to its former importance.
