The wine & spa resort Loisium Hotel offers you a special wine experience in the middle of the Kamptal, near the Wachau. The town of Langenlois, home of the design hotel, has always been known for its wine culture. The wine & cultural centre Loisium and the Loisium hotel are merely a few minutes by car from the charming town Krems at the Danube, bordering on the famous Wachau, which was listed as world cultural heritage by the UNESCO. The capital Vienna can be reached in about 40 min by car. The region around the vineyard hotel is characterized by wine-growing, high culture and the flourishing nature along the Danube and the Kamp.

The hotel
The design hotel wine & spa resort Loisium Hotel was designed by the American star architect Steven Holl. The design hotel is U-shaped and surrounds a courtyard that opens up to the vineyards and the baroque center of Langenlois. The ground floor of the Lower Austria hotel is designed to be in close touch with nature with its color schemes and architectural elements. Columns sprout like trees from the ground. The 82 design hotel rooms are just as inspiring, as they practically float above this 7 m high building made almost entirely out of glass, giving the guest of the Austria hotel a feeling of indefinite space and a spectacular view of the vineyards of the Kamptal valley.

The rooms
All 82 rooms and suites of the 4 star hotel Wine & Spa Resort Loisium Hotel were designed by the architect Steven Holl with his characteristic abstract individuality. Timeless sensuality with a touch of eccentric attitude and fascinating detailed sense of style define a new architectural elegance. Forms, colours, material, and furniture in the Austria design hotel - nothing was left to cliché. From the gel door knob right out of the workshop of a Milanese gel manufacturer to the especially designed "Holl" wardrobe, to the bed and armchair. All rooms of the Austria design hotel have large, open baths, partially with views of the vineyard, full air conditioning, flat screen TV with satellite programs, free high speed Internet connections, telephone, mini-bar, safe and hairdryer.
