You come on the promise of the beach, but once here you realise the 4-star hotel itself has an awful lot going for it. The location for one thing: Venice is not far away, the town of Grado itself is steeped in history and the lagoon views are to die for. Romantic as it gets. And the terrace of the design hotel overlooking the waterfront is hard to pull yourself away from.
Facilities at the Laguna Palace Hotel
The 4-star spa hotel is brand new so everything is bang up-to-date. The Wellness & Beauty center comes kitted out with a huge pool, a sauna and a Turkish bath, just for that total sense of relaxation. And being Italy, food is a big issue: local delicacies are sourced for the restaurant (which, by the way, has a great panoramic view over the lagoon). There’s a solarium on the top floor of the spa hotel too, if you haven’t already caught enough rays on the beach!
