If when you hear the word ’resort’ you think of a large complex with standard rooms, you’ll be really surprised by the individual character of this place. The property is without doubt modern, but at the same time it has a completely authentic feel, that combines the old with the new and the local with the international. This lovely country house hotel is run by sisters Angelica and Beatrice, who inherited it from their grandfather. A former farmhouse, today it’s a really nice, relaxing retreat with pool, colorfully furnished veranda and large garden with countryside views. The apartments are available in different sizes which makes them perfect for whatever kind of holiday you have planned – just the two of you, the whole family, or even large groups of family and friends.
Apartment hotel: Countryside idyll & contemporary amenities
The 16 apartments are found in a collection of historic farmhouse buildings as well as additional new-builds. You can choose between suites in 3 categories or a completely equipped holiday apartment with up to 4 bedrooms for larger families and groups. All of the suites and apartments have a kitchenette and a comfortable living room area. Standard amenities include a furnished veranda, comfortable bathroom with shower and all the mod-cons including air conditioning.
Country hotel: Countryside living in Tuscany
All around the hotel stretch gently rolling hills covered by corn and sunflower fields as well as large olive groves as far as the eye can see. You’ll also be able to spot Monte Leoni in the distance too.
Food & drink: Relaxed enjoyment & local produce
Breakfast here is a relaxed meal with lots of fresh, homemade things. When the weather is nice you can sit outside on the veranda, or if not then there’s a lovely breakfast room. In the evening you can tuck into really delicious Italian country house cooking, which can also be eaten outside when it’s warm.
Leisure & sport: Relaxation & fun for the whole family
In summer the well-maintained pool in the garden is the where all the family can have fun. The pool area has a built-in Jacuzzi, separate kids pool and sunloungers. If you’d prefer to sit in the shade you can make yourself comfortable with a good holiday read on a sofa on the covered veranda. In the main house all guests can use the TV room with large screen for watching TV, movies and playing video games. There’s also a games room with foosball table, billards and table tennis. If you want to explore the local area then you can also borrow a bike from the hotel.
Location: Quiet, secluded location in the Grosseto region
The Guadalupe Tuscany Resort has an idyllic, tucked-away location, just 1km outside the small village of Braccagni near Grosseto. The hotel is surrounded by an agricultural landscape. The hotel itself has also been making olive oil since 2012 from its own organic olive groves. You’ll find the coast and beach just 15km away in Castiglione della Pescaia.
