Historical Hotel: Charming 15th century manor house
The rustic country house dates from the 15th century. Built in 1400, the hotel is situated on a 400-acre plot amid unspoilt nature. It is located in a region steeped in history - the municipality of Girona, which is packed full of fascinating monuments. Although the Hotel Finca El Ventos offers modern amenities, the old ’finca’ style has been retained and creates a charming rustic atmosphere.

The restaurant menu is constantly changing because the emphasis is on fresh, seasonal produce and delicious regional specialities, whether fish or meat, with modern influences. The hotel’s extensive wine cellar, which guests are welcome to visit, is also particularly impressive. Meals are served either in the dining room or on the sunny terrace. Its unique setting allows for wonderful views of the Pyrenees and, on clear days, the Mediterranean Sea. The impressive national park comprises 11 municipalities within about 120km² and includes more than 40 inactive volcanoes and 20 lava flows. The forest is directly adjacent to the 400-acre hotel grounds, with the mountains rising just 100m away. The nearest town, Girona, with its international airport, is around 40km from the hotel.
