The Hotel Praktik Rambla is housed in one of the most spectacular buildings in all of Barcelona – the Casa Climent Arola in the Eixample district. This spectacular building was constructed in the beginning of the 19th century by the Catalan architect Francesco de P. Villar i Carmona. He also drew up the first plans for the famous Sagrada Familia, which was later taken over by Gaudí. The building is a fantastic housing for an equally fantastic design hotel to welcome its guests to.
This city hotel in Barcelona is a real design gem. Instead of seeming cold upnosed, the bright rooms radiate a cool relaxed atmosphere. The unique look of the boutique hotel is the work of the Contemporain Studio of the the famous designer Lázaro Rosa-Violán. The original Art Nouveau elements such as stucco ceilings and mosaic floors were maintained and enhanced with parquet flooring and modern furniture.
