Each day the hotel serves refined Austrian-Sinhalese cuisine and offers an extensive leisure programme. Constructed in conjunction with Sinhalese traditions, the tropical nature of the island is gently intertwined with the interior design of the hotel.

The Underneath The Mango Trees - UTMT Beach & Ayurveda Spa Hotel is surrounded by 273 coconut palms. The beautiful mango grove in its garden gave the hotel the name. It is located on one of the most beautiful beaches of Sri Lanka and has a private beach of it’s own. The position on the hillside makes for particularly stunning views of the Indian Ocean. The architecture in the public areas of the hotel as well as the 22 rooms and suites is strongly inspired by Sinhalese traditions, allowing plenty of room for the tropical nature to intertwine with the design concept, and uses mainly natural materials like wood and stone, which are also suitable for allergy sufferers.

The 13 double rooms have their own balcony and 8 spacious villas with 2 terraces are also available. Both categories have partial sea views and all of the villas and some of the rooms have a private pool. One of the villas is designed for families or for up to 4 adults. There is also a 200m² large suite with 3 separate bedrooms which can accommodate large families or up to 6 guests. All of the bedrooms of the 5-star hotel are equipped with air conditioning, elegant teak wood panelling and free W-LAN. On arrival a fruit basket and water are provided as well as an iPad provided free on request. In addition, the hotel offers its own Ayurvedic Spa, beauty treatments, as well as varied leisure activities such as an Asian cooking class.
