The brand-new OD Port Portals is a dream-come-true for modern Majorca travelers who won’t settle for anything less than the very best in comfort. Situated just a short stroll from the yacht marina in Puerto Portals, this contemporary 4 star hotel offers its guests 76 rooms and suites, all with a chic wooden design. For an extra special stay book one of the rooms on the top (6th and 7th) floors, which enjoy magnificent sea views. 5 star hotel: Successful design & modern technology
The thing that immediately stands out at the OD Port Portals, and that stays with you right until you check out, is its feeling of modern exclusivity. In the public areas, clever decorative ideas meet quality materials, mainly wood and glass. The open-plan rooms are flooded with wonderfully soft lighting, while geometric-shaped furniture creates an uncluttered and unfussy look. The colors blend together wonderfully. And when it comes to amenities and comfort, too, this hotel doesn’t disappoint here either. In addition to the usual standards, the room amenities also include well-stocked capsule coffee machines, iPads and free WiFi, air conditiona flat-screen TV, free minibar with drinks and a safe. Guests booking the Junior Suite even get use of a Smart Cabrio included in the price. Beach hotel: Crystal clear water & glittering gin palaces
The OD Port Portals is just 300m from the marina of Puerto Portals, one of the most sophisticated places on the island. On both sides of the marina guests will find a handful of small to medium-sized beaches with both sandy and rocky sections, wich can be reached in 5 minutes. The water is crystal clear and Caribbean blue. It’s the perfect place to lie in the sun and dream about climbing aboard one of the millionaire yachts and sailing off into the sunset. Along the beach guests will also find some very nice terrace restaurants with good food and sea views. Family hotel: Family rooms to suit everyone
The OD Port Portals is also ideal for a relaxing family holiday. Different room categories can be combined into comfortable family rooms by a connecting door. Food & drink: Gourmet breakfast & cross-over cuisine
Late risers will love the delicious and hearty breakfast buffet that’s available until 12pm and includes smoked salmon, caviar, champagne, cereal, fresh fruit, assorted juices, yoghurt, cold meats and typical Majorcan pastries. Coffee and tea or cocoa as well as egg dishes are served by waiters fresh to your table. At lunch and dinner, healthy international cross-over cuisine is served at the all-white à la carte restaurant. A brunch service is available on the weekends. During summer guests can enjoy cocktails at the Sky Bar overlooking the sea. Leisure & sport: Beach, pool & marina promenade
A really nice pool with terrace and plenty of sun loungers and parasols are the icing on the cake at the OD Port Portals. The marina and its promenade are always a good spot for a stroll, both during the day and at night. There isn’t a lot to see or do in the town itself so it’s a good idea to rent a car or a scooter to explore the coast and its beaches or take a day trip to Palma. Weekly events offered by the hotel and a golf course, which is 10 minutes away by car, provide variety. Location: Perfectly connected and close to the marina
The OD Port Portals is situated on the western edge of the town, 200m above the yachts of Puerto Portals. The nearest beach is 300m away. Palma (7 km) and the rest of the island can be easily reached via the nearby motorway, which is also out of sight and earshot of the hotel. The hotel is situated on a main road, so if you’re a light sleeper you’re best off booking a room at the back.
