The Mercy is a beautiful hotel in a fantastic location that is near everything you want to see in Lisbon. Nice clean room and very helpful staff.

80%I would stay there again

Excellent service, and there was a lot to like about the style which is modern in a good way. Overall there is a good personality to the place. The rooms had two flaws, in my opinion. Flaw #1: No visible outlets for things like clothes irons, hair dryers. Flaw #2: No real shower door, instead a cloth curtain; as a result the shower smelled like it was beginning to grow mold. Altogether, I would recommend this hotel, especially if one can get a deal there.

Hotel description

With its clean lines and sophisticated color scheme, the Mercy Hotel (open since summer 2012) leaps to the top of the hot list of Lisbon’s avant-garde hotels. The services provided at the hotel are also right on trend: A boutique concept treats each guest as an individual, from the choice of rooms to restaurant tips to booking small electric buggies that allow you to navigate your way around even the narrowest streets of the old town. Back at the hotel, sit and relax on the beautiful roof terrace with magnificent 360-degree views.
Design: Elegance in black and white
With a minimalist look in black, white and gray tones, the interior designer Miguel Saraiva has really put his stamp on this hotel, which opened in August 2012. White upholstered furniture, black-tinted glass walls, brushed steel and oiled wood floors come together to create an elegant standard of living. Sophisticated lighting in various shapes and sizes sets the design off perfectly.
