What makes this 5-star-hotel in Croatia absolutely unique is the contrast between wild, romantic coastal landscapes and avant-garde living. Since already a hundred years, this water property in the midst of green hills has housed a beach hotel. In 2011, the old building was demolished and a new architectural prize-worthy construction with maximal window surface facing the sea was built. Its interior decoration with white leather furniture, curvy forms and references to the Art Deco style make this hotel ideal for demanding lovers of design. Starting with the lobby, the combination of round snow-white sofas on high-quality hardwood floors set the perfect balance of coolness and high-class comfort. The same balance is evident in the rooms, which are available in 5 categories from luxurious standard rooms all the way to the presidential suite. The Renaissance-style leather furniture is again perfectly combined with large comfortable beds and original designer accessories for the living space. Further hotel amenities include an exclusive spa, two restaurants, two bars and a conference room with sea view up to 30 people.
Beach Hotel: From the terrace down to the sea
The hotel is directly next to the water. Each of the two first floors contain a large furnished terrace stretching out over the entire length of the hotel. From the ground floor the water is directly accessible for swimming. A bathing zone is bordered off.
Wellness Hotel: Sauna, pool & beauty treatments
In Amabilis, the hotel’s spa, furnished in the same high-class design as other common areas, a sauna, Turkish bath and indoor pool await you. A team of professional wellness therapists offer an excellent selection of massages, face and body treatments in four rooms. For a romantic couple wellness experience, a private spa suite is available, with a round bed and whirlpool.
Food & Drink: 2 restaurants & 2 bars
A rich breakfast buffet is offered each morning in the hotel’s main restaurant Amabilis, accompanied by an overwhelming ocean view through the spacious panorama windows. For lunch and dinner, guests can eat from the buffet or order from the menu. Chandeliers, the hotel’s other restaurant, provides Croatian and Mediterranean specialties and international classics in a snow-white Art Deco atmosphere beneath the chandeliers which give the restaurant its name. A terrific view of the ocean and Krk Island is available from here as well. For an aperitif or refreshment, guests can head to the chic lobby bar or the Nautilus Bar with its panorama terrace. Snacks, salad or ice cream can be ordered at any time.

Hotel Amabilis is situated in the beloved vacation town Selce in the Kvarna bay across from Krk Island. The village center is a mere ten minutes’ walk away. Selce is just south of the coastal city Crikvenia, where there is a beautiful sand beach (a little more than a mile away).
