The country house hotel Villa Le Barone
The Villa Le Barone is not a hotel in the usual sense, but rather a beautiful and romantic country house. To this day it reflects the influence of the family Della Robbia, which opened the serene accommodation in Chianti a few years ago and lead it until now. A historic ambiance dominates the furnishing and decoration of the Villa: Stylish cloths, antique furniture and authentically Tuscan furnishings deliver comfort and easiness. The hotel includes 27 rooms, a bar, an excellent restaurant and a outdoor pool & a heated salt water infinity pool surrounded by large rose gardens with a beautiful view. The staff at the historic mansion will take care of your every need and make sure, that you will have sufficient privacy.
The rooms at the mansion hotel
The main building houses 10 double rooms, while the other 17 rooms are split on a bigger and two smaller houses. The rooms are all very quiet, as is the whole property - ideal for a relaxing vacation. All rooms include air-conditioning. On purpose, no TVs were placed in the rooms - there is a TV-room available for all guests though. The rooms are all individually cut and furnished. Some feature a original, uncovered beam structured ceiling, others have a small balcony. The bathrooms are all very colourful, tastefully decorated and offer modern equipment. The hotel offers small spaces and corners throughout the building, inviting the guests to enjoy a suspenseful lecture at the open fireplaces.
Restaurant and activities
The restaurant at the Villa Le Barone is located in the old wine cellar and offers delicious, traditional cuisine and offers a nice selection of local wines from Tuscany and Chianti. Here you can enjoy a four-course menu with dishes from Tuscany, a salad with homemade olive-oil or an antipasti-buffet. The country house hotel offers diverse activities. Of course, it is ideal to discover Tuscany and its cities. Florence, Siena and San Gimmignano are no more than 40 km away. But the landscapes surrounding the hotel are a sight for themselves - as you can see from the hotels garden! Sporty activities are no problem either: The hotel includes its own tennis court and only 19 km away a 18-hole golf course awaits you. In addition, the Villa Le Barone has mountain bikes for rent and offers cooking courses on demand.
