With its friendly service and contemporary alpine atmosphere, the Sporthotel Silvretta in the Montafon valley doesn’t have any trouble winning its guests over. The 86 guest rooms and suites mix old alpine traditions with contemporary shapes and fantastic design ideas: each room is completely finished in natural wood with one whole wall offering mountain views. Inside you’ll also find a luxurious spa area, excellent dining and a wide range of sports and activities. Wherever you are, the service is friendly, skilled and well managed by the hotel owners themselves.
Sports hotel: Active vacation for everyone
The sports options available around the Silvretta Montafon will keep you busy for days. The hotel team are also more than happy to help you plan what you want to do, like hiking or climbing for example. Mountain bikers especially will love the more than 850 kilometers of marked tracks that go right past the hotel door. There’s a tennis center with indoor and outdoor courts at the hotel itself, and golfers can enjoy unlimited complimentary green fees at the local Silvretta Golf Club. If you want to do your daily workout routine then there’s a really well-equipped fitness studio too. In the winter you’ll find cross-country skiing and snowboarding areas as well as a downhill skiing area that reaches from 700-2430m and offers something for all levels of experience on its 130km of pistes.
Spa hotel: Switch off any time of the day
When you’re exhausted at the thought of hitting the slopes or fancy a break from the climbing, retreat back to the Sporthotel Silvretta Montafon and head straight to the super-modern spa area. And if the weather isn’t so good for outdoor activities, there’s nothing wrong with just spending the whole day exploring what’s on offer here. There’s a swimming pool, range of saunas and steam baths, a massage and beauty area, and a tea lounge. The highlight though are the comfy loungers that hang from the ceiling in the relaxation room and offer you views over the mountains!
Eating and drinking: Refined cuisine and show cooking
Before you head out for a day of activity, head first for the breakfast room to fuel up: here you’ll find an extensive breakfast buffet which you can enjoy together with the great views from the windows. In the evening, head chef André Omlor creates daily changing, excellent dishes from local ingredients. Try the 5-course gourmet menu and we guarantee you won’t have room for seconds! The hotel’s own wine cellar is home to a hand-picked selection of around 140 wines for you to choose from. On Sundays at the “Schmankerl” parties, the head chef invites you to step into the kitchen, try some of his new creations, and let him know what you think. For an afternoon coffee or glass of wine before bed, there’s also a contemporary furnished lounge bar with fireplace and another, cozy hotel bar.
Location: Near the center but off the beaten path
The Sporthotel Silvretta Montafon has a quiet location in the center of the resort, a good distance away from the main road. It’s just 200m from the ski lift station for the Versettlabahn which will take you directly to the nearest ski area. In summer guests can make the same journey to discover kilometers of fantastic biking and hiking trails.
