In Tabanan, Soori Bali is located in one of the greenest regions of Bali. On the slopes of the volcano Batukaru, whose peak looms dark on the horizon, numerous small streams irrigate the terraced rice fields. At 850 metres above sea level stands Jatiluwih, an UNESCO Heritage Site surrounded by rice fields and whose name means "truly wonderful." From the volcanic plateau, visitors can see three dark crater lakes. The holy Tanah Lot, a sea temple, is located 20 minutes from the Villas. Ubud, the artistic centre of Bali, is not far away from Tabanan. The Ngurah Rai International Airport is located 35 kilometres away, but it is connected to the hotel by helicopters which bring guests directly to the resort.
