With its spacious greens, Relais de Vigiers offers elegant accommodation in the countryside especially for golfers. The golf course has a total of 27 holes, divided across an 18 hole and a 9 hole course. The facilities include practice sessions, aimed at both golf beginners and advanced golfers alike.
Country Hotel: Sustainable architecture in keeping with the region
Nestled between the sea and forest, the Relais de Vigiers has found a quiet surrounding well-suited to relaxation. The architecture of the building is based on the traditional construction of the barns that were built in this region and originally used for tobacco drying. During the construction of the Relais, local, renewable materials such as wood were used, and the hotel partially covers its energy needs with their own solar plant. The Relais de Vigiers offers 40 air-conditioned rooms, of which 10 make excellent family rooms thanks to their connecting doors between the bedrooms. Light quality furniture made of raffia or with linen and leather creates a clear design concept at the hotel. The elegant rooms are dominated by Mediterranean terracotta floors and large windows opening onto the garden.

Dining & Drinking: Seasonal dishes made with fresh ingredients
Guests can enjoy the breakfast buffet in the "Les Fresques" restaurant which elegantly resides in the nearby Château de Vigiers, or take breakfast à la carte in the room. In the evening, Chef Didier Casaguana and his team serve an exquisite multi course menu with a passion. As they only use seasonal and regional specialities, the menu changes each week. From lamb to oysters, truffles, or duck breast there are various dishes on offer depending on the season. Lighter fare for a snack in a relaxed atmosphere can be found in the Brasserie "Le Chai", located in the winery. The bar "Le Club" invites guests to enjoy drinks every night until 2:30am.

The 50 m² spa area of the Relais de Vigiers offers an outdoor swimming pool, which is open depending on the temperature between mid-May and mid-September, as well as a steam bath and a hammam. The hotel’s own golf course gives you the opportunity to enjoy sports amongst the beautiful nature of the Dordogne, for example, on hikes or horseback riding tours and balloon tours which are offered nearby. The picturesque old town of Bergerac, through which the Dordogne flows Northeast, can be found about 20 km away. For those arriving from the local airport of Bergerac Roumaniers it takes just 20 minutes in the car, the hotel also offers shuttle-services. From the airport of Bordeaux Mérignac, the trip takes about 75 minutes, there is also a transfer on request.
