Hotel description
Le Mas de Chastelas is one of those places you fall in love with at first sight. Not only that, you’re sure to love it down to the last day of your vacation and far beyond. Since the late 1960s, this small luxury hotel has been a perfect retreat for people looking to stay near Saint-Tropez in some seclusion. All around the old villa the full charm of the Provence is evident, vine-clad outer walls, green-painted window frames, a blooming and aromatic garden, peaceful spots underneath shadowy trees, arbors and a well-tended pool. In the villa itself and a more recently constructed neighboring building, a total of 23 rooms are offered, all of them in exquisite French country house design. Sparsely decorated, bright-colored rooms are equipped with antique and modern furniture. Everything is arranged harmoniously. Rooms are spotlessly clean and well cared for.

An aura of romance settles in immediately on entering the grounds of Le Mas De Chastelas. Extra beds are available and families are welcome, but the magic of the villa is best enjoyed in pairs. The garden, the rooms with their light-hearted, summery design, and dinner by the pool are all perfect for a romantic getaway.
Historic Hotel: Villa from the 18th century
The villa of Le Mas De Chastelas is a manor house from the 18th century. The neighboring building, which houses several guest rooms, was constructed more recently, though its architecture fits harmoniously with the rest of the property. Equal history is evident in the 300,000 ft² garden, with secluded patches of shade beneath old trees. Within the hotel, French country house style alternates with chic, modern designer beds. In corridors and public areas there are beautiful wall murals and paintings to admire.

Each day begins with a gourmet buffet breakfast, offering a large variety of fresh baked goods and home-made marmelades. The hotel restaurant serves excellent French cuisine all day long without interruption (12:00 to 11:00 p.m.).

Regular free shuttle buses travel to St. Tropez and to beaches in summer months. Alternatively, guests can lie comfortably on modern sun chairs by the pool fringed with aromatic green plants and trees.
