The Moerisch Country Hotel is located in Seeboden by Millstätter Lake. Wellness: Bathe and relax in a panorama of peaks
No stone is left unturned in the brand new spa of the Moerisch Country Hotel, ideal for loosening muscles after a day in the mountains or on the trails. Three fashionable, sensuously designed rooms offer treatments such as classic massages, face treatments and Thalasso performed by professional therapists. Highlight of the wellness center is a glass-walled swimming pool with a panorama view leading directly into the outdoor pool (both heated to 86°). Several saunas, a Kneipp basin and a whirlpool are also available. In winter, the relaxation room offers heated water beds for unwinding, also with a mountain view. In summer, guests can sunbathe between the sauna facilities on the adjoining lawn or lie beneath an umbrella.
Athletics: Golf, hiking and skiing
Golfers will be particularly pleased with the Moerisch Country Hotel: the hotel’s garden borders directly on hole 13 of the local golf course. Additionally, tee times for this and other courses can be reserved directly in the hotel, along with helpful advice and a caddyshack. Winter sport lovers can choose between several ski resorts nearby. The nearest is Goldeck (6 miles, free shuttle service from the hotel). Katschberg and Bad Kleinkirchheim are just as fast to reach if you have a car available. In summer, there is lots to explore around the hotel, including Millstätter Lake and other lakes for swimming and boat riding. Hiking trails for all levels lead through Nockenberge national park, an area known particularly for its network of mountain paths.

For families with children, Moerisch Country Hotel is equipped for any eventuality. From room furnishings and special recreational facilities for children down to a family-friendly restaurant, the hotel’s design is just as well thought-out for children as for adults. An ample warm and cold breakfast buffet starts the day here, offering both savory dishes such as regional cheese and sausages, as well as sweet treats like cakes, various types of marmalade and fresh fruit. If you’re on the move during the day, you can request a delicious packed lunch to bring with you. In the evening, the hotel restaurant offers a choice between a 4- or 7-course menu. Among these excellent menus, there are always fish, meat and vegetarian options. For children, there are both a kids’buffet and a children’s menu.
Location: Between mountains, lake and golf course
The Moerisch Country Hotel is located in Seeboden on Millstätter lake, directly by the local golf course. The lake is approximately 1000m away, however it can’t be seen from the hotel. A trip to the center of Seeboden is a little more than a mile.
