The Hotel Harmony is located in the Patershol quarter, the oldest part of town, and offers a choice of four types of room spread across two different buildings. These rooms range from the cosy standard rooms to the especially luxurious and spacious Junior Suite, complete with its own terrace. Depending on the location of the room within the hotel, guests will have either a great view over the river in the Old Town or be able to look out over charming back lanes, each with its own individual character. The rooms are striking in their elegance and the quality of the furnishings, while elements of colour accent the warm dark tones of the walls. Each room has a writing desk made from rich, dark wood, a seating corner, a safe and a minibar. The Hotel Harmony also includes its own courtyard garden and a heated swimming pool.
City Hotel: right in the middle of the action
As the only hotel in the central area of Patershol, the Harmony is only a few steps away from the most important and interesting sights in Ghent. It is only 100m to the Castle Gravensteen, built in the 12th century and St Bavo’s Cathedral is a mere 10 minutes’ walk away. For those who want to venture a little further, the tram stops right in front of the hotel door, providing an ideal way to discover the surrounding area.

Each day in the Hotel Harmony begins with a lavish breakfast buffet, served from 7am to 10am (or until 11am at the weekends), where guests have the choice between croissants, smoked salmon and countless other breakfast delicacies. In the warmer months, breakfast can also be taken on the garden terrace. In the cosy hotel lounge, coffee, tea, wine and cocktails are on offer. Between 6pm and 8pm, guests are served complimentary tapas. There are many excellent restaurants in the back lanes of Ghent which offer a range of choices for your evening meal.

The Hotel Harmony is located right in the middle of the oldest quarter of the city, Patershol. This area really has a medieval feel, with many of the buildings surviving from this period. Right in front of the door, the River Leie winds its way through the Old Town and the rooms at the front of the hotel have a fantastic view down over the river.
