The Hotel Villaguarda Landscape Experience has a secluded location in a small village with a monastery in Upper Treviso. With its 20 rooms and a large park around an old farmhouse, it is an absolutely ideal place to get away from it all for a few days. All of the rooms have been recently renovated and have a stylish, fashionable themed design. At the same time the spirit of old farm traditions is kept alive throughout the hotel and seamlessly blended together with the contemporary hotel services including a brand-new heated outdoor pool.

The idyllic village alone will put you in a romantic mood! The former farm property with traditional architecture is situated on the oldest wine route in Italy, the Strada del Prosecco. The views of the surrounding countryside are absolutely stunning. Thanks to an extensive renovation in 2011, all of the rooms boast one of four beautiful themed designs. The designs give a nod to the region or one of its historic figures in a stylish and complementary way. For example, the headboards in the rooms which are named after the sculptor Canova are dedicated to his famous Venus. The Doge rooms (named after the leader of the former city state of Venice) boast a grand Venetian style with beautiful golden-red silk wallpaper. Each room also features a modern tiled bathroom in an Italian design. Some of the rooms have balconies.

Its secluded location guarantees a relaxed stay. The views extend over the vineyards and green hills, criss-crossed by lots of hiking and biking trails.

The Villaguarda Landscape Experience is run as a Bed & Breakfast, providing a morning breakfast buffet with an excellent range of options. The freshness and quality of the food is very good. If you like you can also order eggs however you like them. For your other meals the friendly service team, which is led by the owners themselves, will happily recommend you restaurants in the local area and will also book you a table. Small snacks and drinks are served in the comfortable lounge or, when the weather is nice, outside on the garden terrace.

The area surrounding Follina offers plenty of opportunities for walking and cycling through this wine-growing landscape. For keen mountain bikers there are also a few more demanding routes. Art and history lovers will enjoy day trips out to attractions in the surrounding area, including the Cistercian monastery in Follina itself, the picturesque town of Asolo and the famous Villa Barbaro in Possagno, the birthplace of the sculptor Canova. Venice is also just an hour’s drive away, making it another great option for a day trip.
