Hotel description

Location: Medieval Spanish town
The Castilla Termal Burgo de Osma is situated in the medieval center of El Burgo de Osma, a historic town in the autonomous region of Castile and León.
On first entering the Castilla Termal Burgo de Osma, in the Central Spanish town of the same name, guests are bound to be flabbergasted. The hall is truly impressive: over two floors, each surrounded by a majestic line of columns, a wide atrium stretches out beneath an enormous glass roof. In the center of the room, a glass dome rises up from the floor, allowing guests a first view of the vaulted spa. Within its thoroughly historical ambience, this one-of-a-kind 4-star hotel offers 70 guest rooms, a restaurant, a café, a children’s playroom and an outdoor pool.
Wellness Hotel: Wonderful underground spa with large swimming pool
In the underground floor of Castilla Termal Burgo de Osma a romantically lit Roman spa awaits, with countless massage jets and an integrated jacuzzi. The entire wellness area, spread out over 1500m², also include a series of contrast baths in wonderful sacred architectural style, various treatment rooms, a sauna, a steam room, a rain shower and wonderful relaxation room. In summer, an outdoor pool with lounge chairs is also available.
Historic Hotel: Blissfully furnished 16th century university
History isn’t the only thing that makes the Castilla Termal Burgo de Osma so unique. What today is a 4-star hotel is located in the buildings of a university from the late middle ages – the Universidad de Santa Catalina, which was founded in the 16th century. In particular, the main hall, which houses a restaurant, the hotel bar and a large lounge area beneath a glass roof, is an example of stunning atmosphere. Rooms are presented in modern design, which harmonizes well with the building in terms of color and style. Surrounded by patterned wallpaper and sleek trendy furniture, the historic architecture is evident in the form of exposed stone walls.
Food & Drink: Spanish breakfast & regional cuisine
The hotel offers a wonderful breakfast buffet with continental classics as well as countless Spanish specialties such as Iberian ham, tortilla, manchego cheese and Spanish quince jelly. For lunch and dinner, the hotel restaurant serves delicious treats from the region. The kitchen specializes in modern versions of traditional dishes. With an exquisite tasting menu, it is possible to sample your way in small bites through the entire culinary offering of the Tierras del Burgo region. The bar in the breathtaking atrium is absolutely worth a visit for a drink during the day or evening.
Sports & Leisure: Wellness and excursions
This hotel is perfect for combining relaxation with excursions. Use of spa and wellness facilities is included. Massages and beauty/wellness treatments can also be booked. The area has countless destinations for excursions: for example, the ruins of the Castillo de Osma, the historical villages of Berlanga de Duero and Calatañazor, the gorges of the Río Lobo and La Fuentona natural monument.
