The rooftop terrace offers good views over the city and the Alster river, and the most tender steaks Hamburg are served at the [m]eatery bar + restaurant. A spa with indoor pool is available for guests to use for free.
5-Star Hotel: Comfortable suites with the latest technology
The Hotel Side Hamburg houses 178 air-conditioned luxury rooms with clean lines and high-quality furnishings. All rooms are spacious and feature comfortable beds with at least 1.60 metres in width, a spacious closet, desk and seating arrangement. The bathrooms are separated from the sleeping area with frosted glass. Sky channels can be received free of charge on a Loewe entertainment system with flat screens. In addition, two telephones, a fax and modem connection and free Wi-Fi are included in each room. Rooms between 28 and 80 m2 are available. The 31-34 m2 Business rooms are characterized by dark parquet flooring and are equipped with 2 metre-wide beds, dining table and espresso machine. On the upper floors there are 10 "flying" suites with limed oak flooring and particularly spacious bathrooms equipped with 2 sinks, tub and separate shower, which can be used for a steam bath in some suites.

The roof terrace offers a panoramic view over the city centre and the Inner Alster Lake, which is within walking distance. The Jungfernstieg, Hamburg’s most elegant shopping street, is connected with the Gänsemarkt, where visitors can linger in cafes and restaurants and go shopping.
Designer Hotel: Minimalist furnishings and atmospheric lighting
The interior architecture, by Milan star designer Matteo Thun, is characterised by purist simplicity. His minimalist furnishings highlight the architecture of the building, which was designed by the Hamburg architecture studio Jan Störmer. High-quality materials such as oak, natural stone and massive furniture like the seating arrangement made of Sassi stones (Matteo Thun collection) creates clear lines which are made dynamic by precisely placed spotlights and indirect light. A highlight is the light installation by New York light choreographer and director Robert Wilson in the 28-metre high atrium. With its unique architecture, individual interior and special atmosphere, the Hotel Side Hamburg is a member of the "designer hotels".
Food & Drink: International breakfast buffet and tender steaks from the [m]eatery
In the morning, guests of the Hotel Side Hamburg can enjoy a rich breakfast buffet with fine teas, coffee and freshly squeezed fruit juices of the season. There are warm egg dishes from poached eggs to omelets and pancakes with berries and maple syrup. In addition, cheeses and cold meats, smoked fish, cheese spreads and homemade jams are available. Upon request, lactose-free products, light foods and “food combining” dishes are available. On weekdays, breakfast is served from 6.30 to 11 o’clock, while on weekends and public holidays, guests can enjoy breakfast from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. The in-house [m]eatery bar + restaurant is known throughout Hamburg for their tender steaks. The steaks come from Argentina, the USA and Europe and mature in the Dry Age box, before being grilled in the Southbend oven until they are just right. In addition, burgers, fresh Tartars and fish dishes are on the menu at the restaurant. The well-stocked bar of the restaurant serves aperitifs and digestives.

Guests of Hotel Side Hamburg can use the 450 square metre spa area for free, which includes an indoor pool, a steam sauna and Jacuzzi.
