Très bon hôtel

Très belle chambre moderne et magnifiques petits-déjeuners. Télévision inutilisable mais sans importance.

It’s not 5 star... but it is nice.

Escapio had the best price for this hotel on the internet. We experienced no problems at all during check-in or check-out, therefore we were happy that we chose this booking option. The Raphael hotel considers itself to be a 5 star, first class experience. Just so you know, the Roman definition of 5 star, first class experience is equivalant to 4 Star, just good enough experience in any other country. Initially, we were dissapointed - no english tv channels, same breakfast options every day, a terrace designed more for attracted street visitors than hotel residents and a vegan restuarant. But, over time the hidden charms of Rome balanced it all out and the reality was that few other hotels have such a great position.

Hotel description

The hotel Raphaël -Relais & Châteaux in Rome, Italy is a beautiful luxury hotel that displays a passion for classic art. Located in a quiet side street near the Piazza Navona, this city hotel allows guests to live in a central location, only a short walk away from the most famous sights in Rome, and the fine authentic ambience is tough to beat!
5 Star Hotel with an Authentic Flair
This historic 5 star hotel is a gem, particularly because of the incredible atmosphere that it radiates. Undoubtedly, many of the elements of the city hotel could be called kitsch in another context, here they seem perfect – exquisitely carved antique chests, fine padded sofas and impressive bronze statues, all fitting with the marble walls, chandeliers, red carpets and huge oil paintings in the halls.
