The Reconquista hadn’t been completed for long when the Hotel Corral del Rey in the centre of Seville was built—and you see it when you step into this city hotel: Every nook and cranny holds Moorish architectural elements. With a bit of imagination you could even describe this historic hotel in Seville as a Riad: the classic inner courtyard, the arched walkways, the columns, and the wooden elements remind you of the palace-like city hotels in North Africa. From the outside, this hotel doesn’t stand out: it stands in a small, quiet alley in the old city of Seville and has an unpretentious façade. But then, you are in for a surprise as you step into this city hotel: the elegance of the Hotel Corral del Rey is unexpected!

The Hotel Corral del Rey only has six rooms. This number has two advantages: On the one hand, intimacy and privacy are guaranteed, on the other each room has been designed with much loving care. They surround the roofed inner courtyard of this historic hotel in Seville and are sorted by both size and category. The rooms of this city hotel have been designed by the interior architect Kuky Mora-Figueroa, who has managed to combine historic and modern elements playfully. Oriental craftsmanship, plenty of wood, and sand colored walls meet a flat-screen TV, a stereo with iPod docking station, and very modern bath.
