The stately home inside which this city-based hotel resides dates back to the 17th century and features a small spa and a restaurant. The leafy patio, multiple balconies, stairs made of marble and the high ceilings offer an old-world charm. The 12 rooms, of which 7 are suites, include high-quality facilities, fine antiques, thick pile carpet runners, modern bathrooms, as well as all technical amenities such as free Wi-Fi, DVD players and plasma screen TV. Many sights, shops and restaurants of the island’s capital can be reached from the Hotel Can Cera on foot.
Historic Hotel: An old family-owned business with a beautiful courtyard
The Hotel Can Cera is housed inside a typical Majorcan stately home from the 17th century. This old family palace changed owners quite often, and as such received numerous conversions over the course of its history. Today, the building shines with a new splendour after its most recent extensive refurbishment and renovation. The highlights include magnificent arcades, a typical Majorcan patio with a large Kentia palm tree and numerous other plants, large rooms with high ceilings and romantic balconies. The impressive original marble staircase leads guests to the upper floors.
Boutique Hotel: Palatial ambiance and contemporary art
The interior of the hotel features palatial grandeur with its painted terracotta tiles. This historic house is adorned with contemporary art which has been incorporated into the design in a sophisticated manner. A total of 12 rooms are simply and elegantly decorated and each have an individual style. As a special touch, antique furniture pieces and elements like thick pile carpet runners have been added. All rooms have air conditioning, and are spacious and quiet. Large beds in the Majorcan style, dressing rooms and modern bathrooms provide additional comfort of the guests.
City Hotel: Located on a quiet street in the city centre
Despite its central location in the heart of the old town of Palma de Mallorca, the Hotel Can Cera offers plenty of rest because the building sits on a pedestrianised street, which stretches between the Plaça de Santa Eulàlia and the Plaça de Sant Francesc. The Cathedral of La Seu is located only a few steps away. From the windows of the hotel rooms guests can also enjoy views of the historic centre.

A unique feature of the Hotel Can Cera is the small integrated spa area that can be rented exclusively for guests on request. Finnish sauna, steam bath, jacuzzi, contrast shower, solarium and massages provide for relaxation. The beaches of Playa de Palma and Palma are located in 1 or 3 km away. Here you can sunbathe, splash in the water, sail, dive or go water skiing. Sports enthusiasts will find opportunities for hiking, golfing, cycling or ballooning and sailing nearby to the hotel. The nightlife of Palma with its numerous bars and restaurants begins only a few meters from the hotel door.
Location: Central, but quiet in the historic centre of Palma
As the hotel is situated directly in the old town of Palma, the main sights of the island capital of Mallorca are within walking distance; including the Gothic Cathedral La Seu and also the Central Square of Plaza de España. There is also an abundance of shops and cinemas in the neighbourhood. A tip is to take a ride on the Soller Train, starting from the Plaza de España and going up into the Tramuntana Mountains, it also starts in the village of Soller and Port de Soller. The guests have the possibility to book a shuttle for a small fee, which transports them to the airport about 12 miles away from the hotel.
