The original city hotel in Born isn’t about pretentious service or pompous luxury. Instead, all the importance is placed on an unparalleled atmosphere. Rooms that change their color several times a day, cleverly designed mirror walls, sofas, so stylish and comfortable that you won’t ever want to get up again, and a restaurant with a design which is a hard act to follow, are just a few of the highlights.
The rooms
Staying at the design hotel Chic & Basic Born comes in three sizes: XL, L and M. The minimalist and well fitted rooms of the Barcelona city hotel gleam in a faultless white design for a short break to freshly renovated heaven and back! If you want to add a little bit of color to the whole scene then just switch on the color system! In all the rooms of the Chic & Basic Born there is a plasma screen TV as well as internet connection. If you don’t have a laptop with you then in the chill out area you will find a communal computer with internet. In addition, there’s free coffee, tea and mineral water.
The White Bar
The “White Bar” is the heart and soul of the Chic & Basic Born hotel. This stylish space is sociable and open. The design is relaxing, alluring and of course, snow white in color. Emanating through drapes covering the ceiling, soft lighting also contributes to the ambiance here. In this pleasant atmosphere the kitchen of the trendy Barcelona hotel serves freshly prepared, typically Spanish small dishes (combinados) and cocktails. Every Friday and Saturday the White Bar morphs itself into a unique party venue with DJ.
